No, I won’t turn a pumpkin into a carriage… but I can help turn off the tears when it comes time for homework (and your kids won’t cry either!). Let me help you turn the burden of school into the blessing of time spent together. I promise, you might not agree with everything I have to say BUT it might be exactly what you need to hear.
I have 15 years experience in the classroom, I’ve taught kinder and grades 2, 3, 4, and 5. I’ve also been and instructional coach and district math trainer. If your child is struggling with it, I’ve helped with it! I have a M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Educational Leadership. My life’s passion is helping students gain the confidence they need in the classroom to succeed in anything they dream.

Family
I’m a mom of 2 Teens… one is in college and the other in high school. We all need a handbook on raising teenagers… I’m setting out to give you a little help in that arena and every stage leading up to that!
Teacher
I’ve been teaching for 13 years and have taught every grade K – 5 except for 1st! I have been an Instructional Coach, mentor for new teachers, and a trainer for my district. I also have 2 master’s degrees in education… if you have a question about school, I have an answer! (Be warned… I can be brutally honest and it might not be the one you want to hear!)
Fun!
Life is too short to be boring. After surviving cancer, I know that each day is a blessing and I love to spend mine hiking, playing golf, or playing board games with my family. (Notice I did not say fighting over homework and school, just saying!)
